How Can I Become A Volunteer?

Shop before the consignors shop!!! You don’t have to be a consignor to volunteer. All you need to do is work at least 4 hours during the sale.

If you volunteer you will receive a pass to shop during our Volunteer Pre-Sale Spectacular. If you volunteer 10 hours your $12 consignor fee will be waived and you will earn 80% of your total sales, instead of the 70% that all other consignors earn.

We encourage you to refer others to the Utah All Kids Sale. If three (3) of your friends register and enter your consignor number in the "Referred By" field your $12 consignor fee will be waived.

After you submit your Volunteer Registration we will contact you to confirm the requested volunteer hours selected during registration. When you sign up for volunteer hours please be certain that you are able to fulfill this obligation. The Utah All Kids Sale will have a large number of volunteers and it will be very difficult to make adjustments once the schedule is set. Please help us best maximize our time by limiting changes. In case of an emergency and you need to change your volunteer hours after you have signed up, please call our support desk at (801) 641-6814 to discuss options.

When working your volunteer shift, please arrive a few minutes early and go to the check-out desk to sign in. You will also sign out when your shift is over.

You may NOT bring a guest to the Volunteer Pre-Sale Spectacular with the exception of your spouse.

If you sign up to volunteer and fail to fulfill your commitment, you will not be allowed to volunteer in future sales and you will be fined a $25.00 fee from your total sales. Please note that we do not want the $25.00, it is only meant to encourage you to follow through and help. Of course there are always emergencies and if you have a legitimate one, let us know and we will reschedule your hours.

How many hours must volunteers work?
Each volunteer is expected to help for a minimum of 4 hours. Volunteers who help for 10 or more hours and who also consign will be credited their $12 consignor fee and will enjoy an 80% return on all their sales versus 70% return for those who only consign.

Do I have to volunteer in order to consign?
No. Volunteering is optional whether or not you choose to consign..

Do I have to volunteer to pick-up my unsold items?
No. Utah All Kids Sale consignors are encouraged to volunteer, however, they are not required to volunteer in order to pick up their unsold merchandise.

May I bring my children with me during my shift?
No. It is too difficult to work and watch the little ones at the same time.

What days/times are available to volunteer?
When you register to volunteer you will select your desired volunteer hours. We will send you an email confirming your preferred hours.

Do I have to be a consignor in order to volunteer?
No. You do not have to be a consignor to volunteer at the sale. We welcome the help and will reward you with a pass to our Pre-Sale Spectacular.
